Go To Fittings Chart -->

Total Equivalent Length of 3" Pipe---------42.7'

Friction = 4.96 x 42.7 / 100------------- 2.1'

Total Suction Lift = 15'(Static) + 2.1'(Friction) = 17.1'

 

Discharge

Total Discharge Head = Static + Friction

Discharge Static Head--------------------------------------22'

Friction Discharge Side

Total Length of 2" Pipe------------------------142'

(4) 90 deg 2" Elbow = 20.8(4x5.2)of Pipe---20.8'

Go To Fittings Chart -->

Total Equivalent Length of 2" Pipe ----------162.8'

Friction = 35.8 x 162.8/100-----------------58.3'

Total Discharge Head = 22'(Static) + 58.3'(Friction) = 80.3'

Total Dynamic Head = Total Discharge Head + Total Suction Head= 80.3' + 17.1' = 97.4'
