Net Positive Suction Head

There are two components that must be considered:

• Net Positive Suction Head Required(NPSHR)
• Net Positive Suction Head Available(NPSHA)

If the NPSHA < NPSHR the Pump will cavitate:

Cavitation----"The Number 1 Pump Killer"
