Torque

Torque(T) is a function of Horsepower(HP) and Speed(RPM)

T = HP (X) 5250 (/) RPM

The Torque required by a pump application must not exceed the Torque limit of the pump shaft. High viscosity/Low speed applications produce high torque requirements.
