Description

The AMT 576 Series is a line of 50Hz shredder sewage pumps that are made with cast iron with a stainless steel motor housing and carbide tipped shredder impellers. The pump design features an enhanced spiral shredder mechanism plate and clog-resistant impellers. This series has the ability to cut through stringy, fibrous, and sludge type waste. It is suitable for use in applications such as sewage pumping stations, septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, dirty water drainage, and flood and emergency. The motors are rated for continuous duty and the single phase models have thermal overload protection. Minimum liquid requirement must be above 85% and failure to do so may cause pump damage.
