The AMT 27/28 Series is a line of solids handling, centrifugal pedestal pumps designed for liquid transfer, dirty water, and chemical processing applications for industrial, agricultural, and commercial applications. The dual volute design reduces radial load on bearings and motor. The maximum recommended RPM for this motor is 4000. Construction options include cast iron with Buna-N seals or stainless steel with Viton seals. 

The pumps are fitted with a self-cleaning, semi-open impeller. They are coupled to a heavy duty cast iron bearing housing with a CNC machined keyed shaft extension and sealing ball bearings. The pumps are designed to handle liquids with solids content or dissolved solids and debris, and their maximum solids handling is up to 3/8in diameter. The pump is designed for either direct connection or belt drive.
