The Iwaki MDM series is a magnetic drive pump series with two materials of construction and mounting configurations to handle aggressive chemical and high purity applications. This series features a non-contact system design that enables the pumps to withstand dry running. They are suitable for use in chemical transfer applications on chemistries such as bleach and sulfuric acid.

The series contains corrosion resistant ETFE and PFA internal parts. The spline/pinned impeller design provides positive locking of impeller and inner magnet while still allowing for individual replacement of each part. The PFA material version also allow for maximum operating temperature of 302°F, whereas the ETFE material is suitable for a maximum temperature of 221°F. The motor for this pump is sold separately.
