Description
The ISNY Abrasive Cyclone Separator removes particulates from fluids without the use of filters. In an industrial environment, dirt, sand, rust particles, and other contaminants can easily find their way into fluids, marring mechanical seal faces and causing leaks and other damage.
Abrasive separators connect to the discharge side of a pump and use high-speed rotation to create a vortex that forces heavier contaminants in an abrasive-laden fluid to full to the bottom of the cyclone where they can be removed, improving the life of a user's equipment and reducing maintenance costs.
Stainless steel cyclone separator offerings from ISNY can efficiently remove particulates from a range of fluids and are ideal for applications involving temperatures ranging up to 400°F and pressure to 2,000 pound-force per square inch (PSI). Unlike other cyclone separators, the ISNY abrasive cyclone separator can be disassembled for cleaning, ensuring the separator is always at peak efficiency.
