The Neptune JG Series Gear Drive Mixer is designed for difficult mixing applications. The mixer comes with a heavy helical gear, 350 rpm motor. The grease-filled gearbox eliminates oil and the possibility of oil contaminating the process. There are no clutches to slip, wear or replace, and square pitch 1.0 ration marine propellers are used exclusively. The flow coefficients and power consumption characteristics equal those of the best hydrofoil impeller designs.

A vibration-absorbing pad is included as a standard feature, and the shaft bearings are permanently lubricated. The mounting clamp has an adjustable angle of entry, via an indexed ball-and-socket design that achieves various process results.

The JG Series also includes options for JGF (flange mount) and JGR (angle-riser mount) mixers.
