Description
The Banjo 222PIE5 222 Series Cast Iron Centrifugal Pump features a "V" shaped design that allows for quicker priming. It has a heavy duty construction with cast iron components for rugged and dependable service. The pump end is separated from the engine for easier maintenance and servicing.
It comes fully mounted on a sturdy cast iron base plate with a heavy gauge steel frame for stability. The pump end consists of pressure cast aluminum end plates with a ribbed design for added rigidity. It also utilizes a dynamically balanced impeller and replaceable inlet/outlet flanges.
For durability, it has a carbon ceramic seal with stainless steel cup and FKM rubber. Large weep holes between the pump end and engine along with a heavy duty slinger seal prevent moisture buildup. The motors are wound with magnet wire that resists inverter spikes.
Additional features include high quality ball bearings with a locked drive end bearing and a stainless steel shaft sleeve protecting the engine shaft.
Caution: Do not run pump dry, restrict port sizes or dead head to prevent component failure. Not for use with flammable liquids.
