The March Pumps Series 8 Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump eliminates the need for a shaft seal and can be serviced with an adjustable wrench. The housing container should be filled completely with liquid; the pump cannot be run dry as the impeller requires the liquid being pumped for lubrication. The container holds approximately 1.75gal. The pump has the ability to vertically pull up liquid 8ft from the surface of the supply tank to the pump within one minute. The pump is capable of handling mildly or highly corrosive chemicals, acids, and solvents, and is ideal for non-ported tanks and siphon feed tanks.
