Description

The Price Pump XL Series Close Coupled Horizontal Centrifugal Pump consists of three close-coupled centrifugal pump models (XL100, XL150, XL200) designed for industrial chemical processing applications. These pumps feature progressively larger capacities with discharge connections of 1in, 1.5in, and 2in respectively, all utilizing 150lb ANSI flanged connections. Construction is entirely 316 stainless steel including the volute, impeller, bracket, and shaft sleeve, providing excellent corrosion resistance for chemical service environments.

Performance varies across the series with the XL100 handling up to 120 GPM, the XL150 up to 250 GPM, and the XL200 up to 400 GPM, all capable of 150 feet maximum head. The pumps accommodate operating temperatures up to 300°F and working pressures from 150 PSI to 350 PSI depending on seal configuration. Standard Type 21 mechanical seals are available with BUNA or Viton elastomers, while optional high-pressure configurations extend capabilities to 300 PSI.

These compact pumps are designed for demanding applications including wastewater treatment, chemical processing, hot solvent handling, and electroplating operations. Optional configurations include air motor drives up to 5 HP, vertical mounting, and specialized sealing systems with flush options for enhanced operational flexibility in corrosive service conditions.
