Description
Chesterton 18K/19K Split Wear Ring is easy to install and manufactured from a glass fiber-reinforced thermoplastic polyimide resin (heat stabilized nylon). The bearings reduce radial movement, extending seal life. The physical properties and built-in lubricants make it suitable for use on rods, rams, or pistons in reciprocating, rotary, or static applications.
It has heat stabilized nylon which as the same carrying load as bronze. The bearings are replaceable and prevent metal to metal contact and prolonging equipment life. The split design minimizes downtime and it reduces radial movement
