The Flux Pumps F 460 Ex is an explosion-proof motor designed for hazardous areas with a durable, double wall aluminum housing. The motor is completely sealed. Optimized air flow ensure good cooling which helps preserve the service life of the carbon brushes. The design of air flow within the motor allows for complete protection against corrosion of electrical components, such as from ambient air vapors like in electroplating units. The motor has an operating temperature range of -20 to 40°C and low noise level.
