Description
The Chesterton 11K Rod Seal is a single acting two part unit for use in hydraulic cylinders and presses. The split design minimizes the need equipment disassembly and shimming and reduces friction and wear in conventional elastomer V-ring assemblies.
The 11K's negative rake lip profile optimizes operating performance and makes for easy installation into the stuffing box cavity. The bottom ring is the primary sealer, the top ring provides secondary sealing while working as an anti-extrusion ring.
