Description
The Chesterton Custom Cap Seal is a rod or piston mounted, bi-directional seal made from second generation PTFE. Second generation PTFE has improved performance over conventional materials. The seal provides excellent performance in single groove, double acting, hydraulic applications.
The cap seal design is made up of a two-piece sealing system with an elastomeric cap and O-Ring to create an effective seal. The cap is the dynamic sealing element while the O-Ring creates a static seal.
