The Chesterton GBS Face Seal protects pumps from contamination when the equipment may be immersed. where moisture is continuous or condensing, or where hermetic sealing or positive containment of oil levels is required. It positively seals out all external sources of contamination without fretting, wearing or damaging shafts. It minimizes lubricant addition to bearing housing. It can be used with a breather plug or expansion chamber, no venting required.
