Reverse Osmosis
Reverse osmosis (RO) pumps are used to provide the high pressure needed to push water through semi-permeable RO membranes to remove contaminants. The pumps typically operate at pressures between 100-400 psi. Key components of RO pumps include the motor, pump head, pressure regulating valve, membranes, pre-filters and post-filters. The pumps connect to piping that leads to the RO membrane housing.
