Description

The Hevvy/Toyo DP Series Dredging Slurry Pump with Agitator is a submersible unit capable of transporting up to 70% solids and offers reliability and durability in the world’s toughest applications. The DP series features low RPM rates to reduce wear and an oversized shaft to protect the pump against leakage. It is available in 3 to 50HP configurations and comes with discharge port sizes ranging from 3 to 8in, depending on the configuration.

The design of the DP series incorporates the Toyo agitator, which is attached to the oversized pump shaft. The Toyo high chrome agitator is proven effective in putting solids back into suspension. It eliminates solids accumulating on the sump floor, significantly reducing maintenance costs resulting from digging out sumps and downtime due to solids building up and choking off the suction of conventional pumps. This, together with the closed impeller, large open passages for solids, and a heavy-duty shaft/bearing configuration, makes the DP series the most rugged submersible slurry pump on the market today.
