Sealless pumps are a type of centrifugal pump designed to operate without the need for a conventional mechanical shaft seal. These pumps are widely used in various industries, particularly in chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and other applications involving hazardous or sensitive fluids. The unique feature of sealless pumps is the elimination of the conventional shaft seal, which is a potential source of leakage and maintenance issues in traditional pumps. Instead, sealless pumps employ a hermetically sealed casing that encloses the pump impeller and motor together in a single unit.
